Mechanism of Action:
  • Binds to and neutralizes heparin, a blood thinner medication
  • Forms a complex with heparin, preventing it from binding to clotting factors
Use:
  • Reversal of heparin-induced anticoagulation
  • Treatment of heparin overdose
  • Prevention of bleeding during surgery or invasive procedures in patients who have received heparin
